Rune Factory 2

The ten orc archers squeal in anger, then shoot arrows at Futomi.
Aria: "Hey! Aren't those tracks going out of the village?"

Mana: "It's probably nothing dear. People walk through here all the time."

Aria gets down on one knee & inspects the tracks closer. "Yup, I'm sure of it. Two people have left the village." She runs off. "I'm gonna go check it out."

Mana: "Aria, wait! It's dangerous out there!"

But she's too late. The little girl is already out of sight.

Most of the arrows missed Futomi. One, a lucky shot that headed straight for her eyes, was deflected by the pale barrier surrounding her. Continuing with a second chant, the barrier grew stronger still, and she slowly advanced towards the group carrying the inmate.

The ten orcs continue to shower Futomi with arrows while the other two orcs prepare to roast the man on the fire.

Suddenly, two fireballs roast the two orcs into cinders. Aria leaps down from a willow tree & approaches the fallen man. "D-daddy?"

Upon hearing noise, an orc turns to see Aria. It squeals in rage. Four of the ten surviving orcs aim their arrows at Aria.

"Look out, Aria!"
Shouting that, Futomi darted forwards. Her shield surrounded Aria and the inmate, extending its protection to the two of them as well.

The four arrows bounce off the shield. Extremely irritated, the orcs shower them with arrows.

Aria kneels next to inmate & inspects the arrows stuck in his chest.

Futomi concentrated briefly, then waved her hands in a circle. "Holy Fire!"

A large fireball appeared in midair, and promptly slammed into the remaining group of orcs, setting them ablaze.

The orcs sqeal in horror as they roast alive.

Aria grabs inmate by the armpits & struggles to drag him. "C-can you hep me? We need to get him to the doctor."

"Sure thing!" Futomi called out as she rushed over. Together, the two of them managed to carry the inmate back to town.

Aria knocks on the door.

Voice: "We don't open until 9am. Please come back later."

Aria: "But it's an emergency."

Someone sighs from inside, then the door opens & a lady comes out. "Oh, dear... What happened here?"

Aria: "He got shot."

"Please, allow me to assist in any way possible!" Futomi added, her face full of determination.

The lady grabs inmate's shoulders. "Help me lift him onto a bed."

"Got it!" Futomi replied as she lifted the inmate's feet. Together, the two were able to move him onto the bed.
