.::The Escape::. RP

John Dee looked over the files on his office desk of the various teens and children in their care. Only two had been with them from nearly the start of the project, the other three that had been brought in with them had died from the tests they had performed on them.

Tanya and Sohi were the oldest that had survived but he couldn't be sure how much longer.

Kushiro was only a few years younger, his behavior peaked John's curiosity. How could one be so bored as to allow himself to be captured by the TSR detachment sent to collect him.

Taniguchi, one of the youngest, worried him, he had reports that he liked blowing up small animals using fire. He wondered how long it would take him to attempt that on the soldiers that guarded him, and the other children.

Alice and Alec, twins though their powers were completely different according to his records. Which led John to believe that perhaps, as young as they were when they were brought in, they believed it. Between Alice's Astral Projections and Alec's Object Manipulation, they would make a fairly potent team.

Ivan had agreed to come to TSR so long as his desires were met and he was given fuel for his powers. John was particularly pleased that he occasionally assisted the scientists and the soldiers. His power, John found this of particular interest, was not a control of the four elements on earth but the element boron, from the elemental table. Outside of Ivan, he could be one of very few people whose elemental powers developed that way.

Lumina was a ten year old girl with an object manipulation ability. TSR hadn't acquired her first, but shortly after she had gotten away from the other facility, John had sent several soldiers to collect her. They had yet to learn much about the gold headband she wore except that it suppressed her powers and they could not remove it.

And lastly, there was Youmu. The child had been brought in fairly recently, he didn't have much for her file. Ten years old with no memory of her life prior to her capture.

With a sigh, John walked to the other side of his desk and picked up a uniquely designed mug and took a large sip from it before sitting down. He pulled the files together and set them neatly int he corner of the desk. If anyone had asked him when he had finished college if he'd one day before running a corporation that abducted children with strange powers, he'd have laughed, quite a lot. But now, it was such a simple task having the children abducted now. A slight bribe to the family made them disappear without their children, a threat made them give them up or, they simply disposed of the family and in every case, they erased any records regarding the children except for the records they needed for themselves.

Lately, he often went with his 'abduction detachment' to oversee the capture of the children. There were times that they got carried away and beat the children to make sure they didn't fight. Much. And he was tired of having to wait for their tests so the children could recuperate.

"What a waste." John said with a sigh before standing once more and leaving his office, walking along the halls. Plain white walls, floors and ceilings filled TSR, steel doors sealed the children in their rooms, and double-paned glass overlooked the labs. He sometimes found himself watching the tests, noticing the resigned look in several childrens faces while others still fought over the years.

"Everything is going to change soon." He muttered.

As the director passed by one of the rooms, the inhabitant stirred. Sitting up from her bed, Sohi glanced blankly at the door. As usual, her face revealed very little...but inside her head...

Something scary will happen soon. It can't be avoided, so brace yourself.

A few minutes later, a loud pounding came from the door. It would have startled her tremendously otherwise, but since she had prepared for it, she merely flinched at the sound.

"Oy, Sohi. It's time for your testing. I'm opening the door, so if you have any traps set, please remove them, okay?"

The guard opened the door and stepped in, promptly tripping over the string tied to the base of the door. Angrily, he glared at Sohi, but she simply helped him up, giving him a small kiss on the forehead.

"'Deya, 'deya. Didn't I tell you 'ta practice your precognition, Sohi? You should have predicted 'dat," she said, as if she were addressing herself. Taken off-guard by her odd behavior, the guard simply decided to let it go, and escorted her to the testing lab.

Meh, this place sucks. The room is cheap. thought Kushiro. I almost regret coming here. I hope the rest is interesting.

Soon, someone knocked loudly at his door and opened immeditately.

"Time for your first tests, Kushiro. Come with me." said the guard who had just barged in.
"Meh... Why not. Might make a change of pace." replied Kushiro, following the guard willingly.

Prologue
It was cold & rainy when she woke up in the forest. She was afraid. She didn't like being alone. Upon hearing a loud commotion in the distance (which was the sound of an Elemental Controller fighting off captors), she rushed toward that direction.

The battle was over upon her arrival with the boy shot between the eyes. She didn't see the boy as she exited the forest. However, the men saw her. They began to think about ways to remove the witness with as little effort as possible.

When she started responding to their thoughts as if they were being spoken aloud, the issue was resolved. They'd take her in the boy's place & lock her in his cell.

Present
How nice of those kind men to take me out of the rain & shelter me in this warm room, she thought. I'll have to make it up to them somehow.

She begins to hum a happy tune as she dangles her feet off the edge of the bed.

John watched as Kushiro and Sohi were led into the labs. Taking out his cell phone, he entered a long seventeen digit code, giving him access to the camera's in the labs opposite where he was watching. He was slightly disappointed that they had yet to be occupied. Hitting a speed dial on his phone, John ordered that any other available subjects be brought in for testing to save time for the day, so they could get more work in.

He briefly wondered if there was a way he could make an offer to Kushiro to assist TSR. John recalled his record saying that he'd only allowed himself to be brought in out of boredom. Capturing other 'gifted' children might alleviate that boredom, quite a few put up a fight after all. Especially in the past year or so.
Tanya was out in the courtyard with an armed guard. Though all she was doing was sitting in the sunlight, relaxing. It had taken a lot of bargaining to get them to let her out earlier than they were supposed to. She liked the few moments that she had to herself, to let her thoughts run wild before pulling them back in control because of telepaths. Just for a bit of fun, she sometimes thought in another language for the sake of seeing their confused faces.

Security Guard: "Yes, Sir. It shall be done at once." *hangs up the phone* Stupid, pompous, ass! Who the hell does he thing he is--ordering me about during my lunch hour?

He gets up from the cafe table, wipes his hands off with a napkin, then walks into the hallway.

The twins are sound asleep in a conjoined dream of the sorts...

Alice goes in to meet him with the intention of finally showing herself and her name.
Thinking this might spark his memory of her,even though she has no memory all the feelings are there.

But he on the other hand is sometimes so distant it leaves her empty and wishing she hadn't met him that day,she thinks to herself how silly that thought is.

The only reason she wants to live is to be with Alec....whatelse is there?
there is nothing after Alec just sadness

"Hey"Alec says running over to the small girl laying on the ground

"That was not expected"he says picking her up

"You usually appear awake and walking towards me,it seems this time I had to walk towards you"a small smile appearing on his face
the girl grabs onto his other hand and kisses his cheek"Do you remember me brother?"she says her eyes hopeful

He sets her down,he himself sitting back as he looks to the side thoughtful for a moment frustration crossing him briefly.
But still noticed by Alice

"I guess you don't remember me,but I remember you.."the young girl named Alice stating an obvious lie,but to get him back she had to do something,amazed that she lied to her big brother she stares down at the ground"No...I also don't remember you..."hating herself abit more

"Why don't you willingly love me like I love you,am I not good enough for your love"her appearance flickers

Alec finally looks back at her seeing her flicker,he doesn't want her to dissapear not again

"You are good enough for my love but my love is different than yours" she retorts with a "How would you know?"

Her appearance finally settling down,but accidentally Alice leaves herself as her current 18 year old image.
Alec is shocked his eyes growing wide,inadverdently he hugs her tightly

"I thought that you would be to young to understand,and that it wasn't right of me"

"But I love you and you wouldn't do anything to hurt me" surprised with the sudden sign of affection she hugs him back just as tightly or maybe more.

"What is your name?"he asks enjoying the embrace"My name is A-"Alec falls over as she is not there anymore

He wakes up to find that he actually had fallen but off his bed,most likely due to the guard having shoved the bed

"What do you want?I was actually having a good dream for once in this hell hole" Alec says with an angry expression also heard through his voice

The guard grabs Alec and proceeds to shove him out the room"It's time for your testing,you trash"
not liking the way he is being treated and the interruption from his wonderful dream,he grabs onto the guards gun and shoots him in the knee.
Moments later a few more guards intermediate one with a tranquilizer,he struggles underneath them then finally he goes limp as he is dragged off to the lab.

Alice wakes up being held in the arms of a guard,assuming she had slept through all their attempts at waking her.
Closing her eyes another one of herself appears and runs off in the opposite direction with the goal of finding Alec,the guard seemingly doesn't notice the other Alice continuing to the lab.
The other Alice this time is actually herself not her other personas realizing this will drain her energy much more and make controlling her body difficult she rushes to find him.
Running down hallways she finally finds him not awake but unconscious on a table putting her hand against the glass,Is he okay she wonders.Acting before thinking she opens the door to the lab as their are no scientists there yet.

"Alec are you okay?!"she says shaking him,unexpectedly feeling something touch her she jumps and looks at Alec's hand.
He wakes up and hugs her seeing the nametag"So your name is Alice,huh?"
she nods happily hugging him back her body starts reacting abnormally,figuring the testing has already started
"Alec please find me" she mutters dissapearing.
Waking up she finds abunch of wires attached to her groggily opening her eyes to see a scientist taking notes.

Meanwhile Alec was confused with her dissapearance,but his mind was set that he must find her and that she is somewhere in the facility.
Grabbing a few tranquilizers and scalpels he shoves them into his pocket just in case,momens later he sees guards walk by hiding underneath the table after abit he gets out from under there and opens the door looking around.
He realizes time is short and starts running everywhere in his search,hiding behind corners when he sees guards or other prisoners.

The first lab he passes by has a girl strapped to a chair a helmet covering most of her face but that familiar blonde hair makes him take a risk.
Kicking down the door he rushes in and starts unstrapping her,the scientist tries to make him stop by tranquilizing him.
Well he got what was coming and instead he got tranquilized,having unstrapped her completely she looks up at him.
"Found you" he says grabbing her hand trying to lead her out"Alec..?"she says weakly unable to stand up,he looks around franticly as soon someone will realize that he is not in the lab where he is supposed to be tested in.
He picks her up and starts to stand up,she wraps her arms around his neck and legs around him all in good timming as he ran out the room and started going down the hallway.

John frowned as he looked back at the labs on his phone, seeing the twins together. The boy, Alec was releasing Alice and tranquilized the scientist working with her. Hitting the redial on his phone quickly, John walked back to his office and sat behind his desk.

"Change of plans, prepare to mobilize the soldiers. We have some trouble." He said simply before hanging up. His fist clenched on the desk and he glared towards the door. Nothing could ever go smoothly could it? Hitting a couple keys on his computer, his accesses the camera's for the lab Alec had been placed in. Why had he been left without someone to watch him? Hadn't the soldiers learned by now that these were not ordinary people they kept locked up?

"None of them seem to understand, damn fools!" John opened his desk drawer and loaded his gun before placing it under the jacket of his suit. Alec and Alice were only the first, the rest of them would be following suit fairly soon. He hit another number on his phone, it wouldn't send a call or a message but it would give note of something.

John wouldn't allow them to find him hiding in his office while nearly twenty years of work escaped from underneath his fingers. He walked out and into the halls, motioning for two guards to walk with him.
The guard with Tanya snapped towards her before grabbing her arm and pulling her back into the building. She scowled, having enjoyed the little time she spent in the sunshine. Without a warning, she twisted her body and kicked him in the chest and away from her. Tanya threw her hair from the front of her face before giving him a swift kick in the side and spitting on him.

"I was enjoying myself." She said before leaning down towards him and plucking a pair of sunglasses off his uniform. "Thanks." She muttered as she turned to go back outside but stopped when she saw Alec and Alice running down the hall.

"What are you two doing??"

Security Guard: *opens Youmu's cell door & points a gun at her* "Alright you, you're coming with me."

Youmu: "Okay."

At that moment, his cell phone vibrates.

Security Guard: "Hello?"

John: "Change of plans, prepare to mobilize the soldiers. We have some trouble."

Security Guard: "But, Sir. I'm just a guard. I don't..." *John hangs up* That guy is really starting to get on my nerves! I don't have that kind of authority. Besides, I'm on lunch. I'm off the clock for crying out loud!

Suddenly, he realizes that Youmu is holding his left hand.

Security Guard: "Sorry, kid. Change of plans. You're gonna have to stay here."

Youmu: "O-Okay..."

She let's go of his hand & walks toward her bed. The security guard locks the cell, then rushes toward the guard station.

Noticing the guard still hurt from Tanya's attacks he grabs the woman and puts her against the wall SHH'ing her
"We're escaping,I want to put her somewhere safe while I take down this facility"

after he mentions putting her somewhere safe Alice peeksover his shoulder and chimes in
"Don't leave me somewhere alone,we've been apart all this time and I'm not going to let you leave...plus I want to help the others trapped here"

He turns his head and sighs"Okay,fine but you're staying with me at all times"Alice nods to this"Anyways are you with us or not?"he says staring at the woman

Tanya slipped on the sunglasses and grinned widely. There was no doubt that she was in for an escape, especially after her time outside had been interrupted. She stooped next to the unconscious soldier and took his nightstick and handgun. It only had a few bullets in it, obviously they kept them low in case something like this happened but it was better than nothing.

"I'm so in." Tanya smirked as she tucked the gun into the back of her pants and pulled her teeshirt over it to hide it and holding the nightstick rather loosely. "Let's go."

She went over to the wall, pressing her body against it before looking around the corner for any of the soldiers. As one came by, she snapped the nightstick out and smashed it into his nose, watching with only a little bit of satisfaction as blood started pouring and he started yelling about his nose being broken before she swung it out into the side of his head with a resounding CRACK! and knocked him unconscious.

"One down."

Security Guard: *arrives at the guard shack* "Hey, we've got a security breach."

Lazy Guard: "Not really," *bites from donut* "No one has entered the facility without proper identification. I'm sure of it."

Security Guard: "The kids are trying to escape."

Lazy Guard: "So? That's what the soldiers are for."

Security Guard: "So are we!"

Lazy Guard: "No." *bites from donut* "I'm just paid to keep people out. I could care less if someone wants to leave."

Security Guard: *face palms*

"It was a good shot," Sohi said, pressing herself against the corner opposite of Tanya. When the commotion had occurred earlier, the guards near Sohi had panicked and fled, and thus, she had merely walked out of the testing lab.

I wished for a fun day today...I wonder if it will come true...

As another guard rounded the corner, Sohi grabbed his arms. "Let's play~" she squealed, slinging him into the wall. The impact knocked the guard out cold. "Oh no...I was too rough..."

Kushiro casually walked in and patted Sohi's head. "Atta girl. That's how you play with a guard."

After the ruckus started, Kushiro simply left his escort behind with 3rd degree burns to see what was going on. Something like this obviously got him excited. He couldn't stand a lazy life... Especially when watched over all the time.

"Oh. Kushi is patting my head again. Is it fun, Kushi? Kushi...pillow...uwah, I'm sleepy..." Sohi commented, yawning. Kushiro was noticeably shorter than her, so she was able to easily retaliate, patting his head in return. "Ah, it is fun~" she said, tripping another guard that ran by.

"Sohi! Get back to your cell, or I'll be forced to shoot you!" the guard said angrily, standing up.

"Only if you give me a pillow," Sohi retaliated with a childish whine.

"That's it! Get back there now or you...eh?" the guard said in surprise as his legs were suddenly pulled out from under him. Dropping his gun on the floor, the guard found himself dangling from the ceiling by a thin but durable wire. If it weren't for his boots, it may have even cut him...

"Silly Sohi, you shouldn't leave your toys lying around~" Sohi said, gently kicking the gun down the corridor.

"Really now..." Kushiro said to Sohi. "You make people trip over them... By the way." He flicked a fireball behind him, which landed straight into a guard... Though it had grazed Alec. "Are any of these guards competent? This is rapidly becoming boring." he said on an obviously bored tone. The guard had already burned down...

Sohi stared at him blankly. "Competence. It's a pretty word, but I t'ink I forgot what it means," she replied, turning her gaze to stare at the wall. "Anyway, 'dis isn't a good place 'ta stand around. Hallways are for walking," she stated simply, as though the wall were listening, and started walking calmly down the hallway and turning a corner.

"Sohi! Why are you walking around here? Don't you know it's...Wah!"

"Ah, sorry. I've really gotta pick up my toys, huh? Please continue 'ta nap 'dere for a bit, okay?"

Kushiro stared at Sohi for a bit... And then started following her. "Competence... If you're competent, it means you're good at what you're doing. Got it? So where are we going anyway?" he asked, walking alongside her with his hands behind his head. Suddenly, an ice wall erected behind them, preventing any pursuers.

In his cell he waited, sat down and meditated. Everyday it was like this, he'd meditate for hours keeping his aura in check. Everyday, he'd go to eat breakfast lunch and dinner in the facility. He kept an eye on vents and places he could let his flames move from. With cuffs on his hand and a black and white striped prisoner shirt and pants; he felt like a criminal, yet he knew he wasn't one.

It was a usual afternoon where they allowed the kids to roam the halls, and everyone simply relaxed. It would be a while before they went back to their cells.

'I wonder what the escape plan is,' Taniguchi though, as he continued mediating.

He was, of course, unaware of the dead guards outside or anything but the mediation he was working on to keep himself in check.

Wincing from the burn Alec holds onto Alice tighter to prevent dropping her,but she is not there for she had created herself as another.The other Alice,one who obviously wasn't Alice follows Kushiro and Sohi...they don't realize since Kushiro is most likely confident noone truly could.The Alice on Alec's back comes to opening her eyes
"So what is your name anyways?"she asks the woman,as if what happened had not happened."In either case we should really consider freeing the others,it seems we obviously aren't the only ones who crave the freedom"

"I'm Tanya and no, it doesn't seem like they're very competent. Maybe no one got them moving when we started knocking out our guards. Idiots." She answers quickly as she started pulling off a large key ring from one of the soldiers. Each one was marked for which cell it opened. Opening the ring, she handed each person several keys then clipped the now empty ring back onto the soldiers belt.

"Let's get these doors open. I'll get the other side of the building. No one should be alone, so who's coming with me?" Tanya asked as she took the gun out and tucked the nightstick in her belt for safe keeping.
John walked to the security office, obviously growing angry. None of the guards or soldiers in the building had been armed more thoroughly and nothing was being done to return the prisoners to their rooms. The two guards that walked with him kept their faces perfectly neutral, moreso to keep John's rage away from themselves. He pushed open the door to the guard shack and frowned.

"Why are the children still walking around freely?! Why, have only a few people tried to stop them?!" He demanded, clutching his gun tightly. John Dee was not one to allow insubordination or laziness. He'd spent everything he had to create TSR and spent years gathering children with strange powers.

After about an hour's worth of meditation. Tani touched his cell door and gentle swung it forward...

"No one around eh, man I wonder where everyone went. I'm kinda thinking back up will be here soon, not really a good idea to wander past the cafeteria. I should probably head there."

Taniguchi decided to walk toward there.

As Taniguchi left his cell and began walking, Sohi and Kushiro bumped into him.

Dangerous...it's that pyro kid...

Sohi suddenly moved backwards, hiding behind Kushiro. Despite her obvious fear, however, she addressed Taniguchi normally. "Hi, Tani~ Did you come out 'ta play wid' 'da guards, too?" she asked, ducking slightly so that her tall frame was completely hidden behind Kushiro.
